The term "fake news" is increasingly found in news content and the vocabularies of Americans. Public relations practitioners and scholars are in a unique position to address the causes, symptoms, and consequences of exposure to misinformation. In this panel presentation, three public relations professionals with a combined 50 years of industry knowledge will discuss strategies to minimize and manage crises originating from online misinformation.
