Navigating Through the Changing Media Landscape - A Panel Discussion Among Media Experts

How has news delivery changed in recent years? How are traditional media outlets innovating in order to survive amid industry changes? How can social and traditional media co-exist? How can public relations experts best work with today’s journalists?
Media experts from our region’s leading newspaper, magazine, radio and television organizations will share their insight and discuss their views on the rapidly changing media landscape, 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. at the Martin University Center, 105 Fir Hill, on the University of Akron campus.
Bruce Winges, vice president and editor, Akron Beacon Journal, will serve as moderator of the discussion. Panelists include: Ed Esposito, vice president of information media, Rubber City Radio Group, Akron; Todd Franko, editor, The Vindicator, Youngstown; Kristin Lindsey, managing editor, Akron Life & Leisure magazine, Akron; Eric Mansfield, co-anchor, WKYC-TV3, Cleveland; Jeff St. Clair, Morning Edition host, WKSU/NPR, Kent; and Veronica Van Dress, assistant managing editor/content, The Repository, Canton.
